NOTICE: Presently, our supplier of 1.5TB drives has acknowledged an issue with the drives which affects the performance of the drive in certain HR products. We are working with our suppliers to find a resolve. However, this may suspend or delay the availablity of certain HR products which use 1.5TB drives.

What makes our media trays
better then the rest?

OUR TRAY

Hard Drive Status Indicator: Lets you know that your Media Tray is being accessed.
Fan and Temperature Alarm: Alarm sounds when drive overheats or when fan stops.
Hard Drive Activity Light: Shows when data is being written and read.
Real Time Temperature Display: Shows real time Media Tray Temperature.
Hard Drive Hour Meter: Media Tray displays total access time in day/hr format.
Three Position Key Switch: Ensures Media Tray is locked into place before applying power.

Media Chassis Fully encloses and protects the hard drive!
Cast Aluminum Alloy Construction:
Cast aluminum alloy is strong enough to support 600 Lbs.

Rugged ABS Plastic: Molded ABS plastic provides a stong and rugged front and rear face.
Tray Connectors: Media Tray has been rated at over 100,000 plugs and unplugs.

THE COMPETITION

Exposed Drives :Many cheap designs like this allow the back side of the drive to be open and unprotected which can leave it susceptible to physical and static electricity damage. While the HR media tray itself maybe destroyed from trauma but the hard drive inside will be safely protected.
Thin Sheet Metal Designs: Flimsy frames and no intervening back plane offers no additional protection to hard drive leaving it vulnerable to physical damage or static electricity damage. Bare SATA hard drive connectors are rated for as FEW as 50 insertion and removals!

Bare Back Designs: Bare back designs leave your hard drive without protection against physical accidents or static electricity.
Damaged connectors: Naked connectors are easily damaged as in this IDE drive here. However, SATA contact leafs are only supported by a thin plastic fence and are even more susceptible to to physical damage.
