We specialize in backup devices that use fully enclosed and protected hard drives (drives installed in metal hot-swap trays). Our products allow fast backup & restore and also provide a way to physically transport data offsite. Use them alone or along with a cloud backup strategy.
Choose from 3 types of removable Media: MPac, High-Rely Classic, or RAIDPacs installed in RAIDFrames. MPac trays hold one or two 2.5" SATA drives. High-Rely Classic trays hold standard 3.5" SATA drives. RAIDPacs hold three 3.5" SATA drives and a RAID controller, making them the world's largest removable backup cartridge at 9TB each. Connect our backup systems using your choice of USB 3.0, USB 2.0, eSATA, or Gigabit Ethernet.

- Security - You keep physical control of your media at all times. Compared with "Cloud Backup" (over the Internet data vaulting services) you have higher security because you can encrypt and physically protect your media.
- Speed - USB drives, tape, or Internet based cloud backup can't match the performance of locally attached storage. When a server needs to be restored, it needs to be up in minutes or hours - not days. Offsite backup cannot be relied upon to restore quickly enough in today's enterprise environments. High-Rely is the best answer to shrinking Recovery Time Objective (RTO) windows.
- Size - With media sizes up to 3TB (High-Rely and MPac family) to 9TB (RAIDFrame family) our removable disk backup devices feature the largest capacities available on the market. Multi-drive models expand backup sizes even further and allow multiple day and multiple server coverage without human intervention.

- Standards based - Unlike competitive systems that lock you into using their branded hard drives, Highly Reliable Systems allows you to upgrade or replace hard drives with off the shelf 2.5" or 3.5" hard drives. We also use ATX or other industry standard sized power supplies where possible. We are dedicated to non-proprietary and open design standards.
- Price - It's rare when a product is faster and better than the competition and yet the product is MORE affordable than the alternatives. Our Slimline 1 bay units start at $225 (hard drive media sold separately). No other enterprise quality backup system on the market can compare with the economics of using High-Rely products.
- Software Agnostic - Combine our hardware with any "best of breed" backup software that supports removable drives. Whether you prefer disk imaging software (Symantec Backup Exec System Recovery, Acronis True Image, Storage Craft Shadowprotect etc.) or file based packages (Backup Exec, ArcServe, EMC Retrospect etc.) your choices are huge. With our hardware YOU decide what backup software functionality is best for you.
- Reliable - We fully enclose daily backup disk drives in metal trays to protect them from shock and static. Archival bays that use "raw drives" for long term storage are stored in carrying cases that are designed for that purpose. Hard drives have a good track record of out lasting and outperforming tape when stored and cared for as tapes are.
